Captain
Scarlet was another Gerry Anderson hit show, and was more
sophisticated than the ground-breaking 'Thunderbirds', though
without so many fancy rockets!
As an eight-year-old child Scarlet's foes the Mysterons were as
scary, to me, as the Daleks. Captain Black was like a good-looking
Davros - but just as evil!
As with all of Gerry Anderson shows, there were good looking
female dolls (!) in the shape of the heroic, dynamic Angels -
Rhapsody, Harmony, Melody, Destiny, and Symphony.
Captain Scarlet himself, of course, is indestructible, but
sometimes you think he's just not going to make it!
